Applying for a Loan, Investment
This query is often confused with "carrying out investments", and the difference is fundamental. In "carrying out investments" you invest your money. In "applying for a loan, investment" you ask others for money: a bank, an investor, a fund or a partner. In Chinese date selection, asking for money calls for a day when "noble people" are inclined to help and doors open to new agreements.
What the query covers:
- applying for a loan, a mortgage, a car loan or an instalment plan;
- asking friends or partners for a loan;
- presenting a business or start-up to investors, pitching, negotiating a funding round;
- applying for a grant, a subsidy or government support;
- launching a crowdfunding campaign;
- negotiating refinancing or loan restructuring.
When to use a different query:
- you invest money yourself: "carrying out investments";
- you sign a loan agreement that has already been approved: "signing of contracts and agreements";
- you repay a loan or a debt: "debt repayment";
- you lend money to someone: "lending money to someone";
- you demand that a debt be repaid to you: "debt collection".
How the Calendar rates the day. For asking for money the favourable Day Officers are Success and Establish. The unfavourable ones are Full, Control, Stable and Destruction. Note that Full, which is good for investing, is unfavourable here: a "full" day has little room to receive anything from outside. The day is supported by the Noble Man (the key star for any request), the Three Mystics, the Heavenly Star of Wealth, the Star of Prosperity and the Travelling Horse. It is weakened by the No Wealth Day, the Star of Losses, Year Sha and Month Sha, and a Clash of the Month.
Tip. Getting a loan is usually a chain of steps. Use this query for the day you apply or hold the first meeting. Sign the agreement on a day chosen with "signing of contracts and agreements", and receive the money on a day chosen with "receiving rewards". With the Personal Calendar connected, your Bazi chart is taken into account too.
