Starting a New Project
In Chinese date selection, the beginning of any major undertaking is one of the most important moments. Like a seed, the launch day holds the future of the whole project. That is why "starting a new project" is popular with entrepreneurs, managers and anyone starting something of their own.
A lucky launch day helps a project gain momentum faster, find support and bring income. On an unfavourable day a project may get "stuck", lose time and money or run into unexpected obstacles.

Among the lunar mansions, Star, Dipper, Well, Bow, Room, Chariot, Net, Wall and Guardian are good, for example, while Ghost, Willow, Astride and Heart are unfavourable. The day is supported by the Heavenly Star of Wealth, the Star of Prosperity, the Travelling Horse, the Noble Man and the Three Mystics. The list of unfavourable stars here is one of the longest, because launching a project calls for especially careful choice of the day.
