13. The Room (Encampment) Lunar Mansion
The mansion "Room” (Encampment) 室 (Shi) is the thirteenth in the series of 28 lunar mansions of Chinese astronomy. Since the constellations indicate places in the sky where the Moon “visits” every night, they are also called “28 Lunar Stations” or “28 Lunar Houses”, in Chinese: 28 Xiu. The Room is also the sixth and penultimate mansion in the Northern Palace, the Great Mansion of the Black Turtle Xuanwu.
Different sources indicate different numbers of stars included in the Room lunar mansion. The most important are Alpha and Beta Pegasus.

It is believed that the lunar mansion Din symbolized a treasury or library. This meaning also remained in its “reduced” version, the Room-Shi.
