General analysis of the day
Overview:
October 12 — Day of Success (成). This is the most auspicious of all 12 day-indicators, bringing favourable outcomes across many endeavours. The presence of The Star of Heavenly Happiness and The Heavenly Doctor Star amplifies the day's constructive energy, though Calamity Sha introduces a note of caution in personal relationships.
Positives of the day:
The Star of Heavenly Happiness favours weddings, romantic occasions, family celebrations, conception and festive gatherings. The Heavenly Doctor Star makes this an excellent time to seek medical advice and begin treatments—you may encounter a skilled practitioner. The Success indicator itself opens doors for business ventures, contracts, employment, new homes, journeys and educational pursuits. The Horn mansion brings growth of wealth, excellent conditions for construction and land acquisition, and bestows great credit and standing on those who marry today, particularly the eldest son.
Negatives of the day:
Calamity Sha warns of relationship complications, including infidelity, violence and sexually transmitted disease risks. It also signals potential bodily harm and illness, making it inadvisable to start medical treatments despite The Heavenly Doctor Star's presence. The Success indicator explicitly cautions against resolving legal matters, which may spawn further complications. The Horn mansion forbids burial and funeral rites; conducting funerals risks family calamities within three years.
Good for:
— Weddings and romantic partnerships — Conceiving children — Starting a business or signing contracts — Job seeking and recruitment — Beginning construction or purchasing land — Moving to a new home — Travelling — Enrolling in courses and beginning studies — Seeking medical advice and diagnosis — Religious ceremonies and prayer — Family celebrations and festive occasions
Not good for:
— Resolving legal disputes and lawsuits — Starting medical treatments — Burial and funeral arrangements — Intimate relations (due to Calamity Sha) — Pursuing new romantic connections with unfamiliar partners
In short:
October 12 is exceptionally favourable for major life transitions—marriage, business, relocation, education and health consultations—yet demands restraint in legal matters and intimate affairs. The day's tremendous potential is best claimed through mindful action in your professional and domestic life, while exercising caution in relationships and avoiding funeral rites entirely.
