General analysis of the day
Overview:
May 17 — Day of Open (開). This day carries the bright promise of the Open indicator, naturally favourable for new beginnings and ventures. Yet the Pleiades mansion casts a shadow of caution, while the Month Calamity Sha warns of interpersonal risks—creating a day of mixed currents that requires discernment.
Positives of the day:
The Heavenly Star of Virtue shines strongly, transforming obstacles into opportunity and lending charisma to your dealings. The Open indicator itself is powerfully auspicious for launches, openings, and official matters. Contracts, agreements, and business partnerships all benefit from this energy. Even conflict and discord soften under the influence of Heavenly Star of Virtue.
Negatives of the day:
The Month Calamity Sha introduces danger in relationships and health—do not begin medical treatments, and exercise caution in matters involving the opposite sex. The Pleiades mansion is fundamentally inauspicious and governs legal proceedings, family loss, and misjudgement. The mansion explicitly warns against lawsuits and debt collection. There is also a contradiction: the Open indicator forbids foundation work and groundwork, yet its energy naturally invites such activity.
Good for:
— Starting a business or opening an office — Signing contracts and business agreements — Hiring or terminating employees — Public speaking and making contacts — Forming business partnerships — Religious ceremonies and blessing requests — Inviting guests and house warming — Issuing new decrees or orders — Travelling and setting forth on journeys — Purchasing property
Not good for:
— Beginning any medical treatment — Romantic or intimate encounters — Digging foundations or groundwork — Filing lawsuits or pursuing legal action — Collecting debts — Weddings or funerals — Cutting down trees or fishing — Short-term projects or exam preparation — Important matters (general caution under Pleiades)
In short:
May 17 is a day to move forward boldly in business, contracts, and public endeavours, where the Heavenly Star of Virtue grants protection and charisma. However, avoid all legal action, medical beginnings, and intimate entanglements. Treat this as a day for launching outward rather than solving inward problems.
