Feng Shui Lucky Days for May 2026

May 2026. The solar month changes on May 5 at 11:48 UTC (highlighted in the grid) — on this day the Chinese calendar enters the month of 癸巳 (Water Snake) in the year of 丙午 (Fire Horse), and the day-ruler doubles: Open (開) gives way to Close (閉).

The Snake month spans two Chinese solar seasons:

First season — Beginning of Summer (立夏), arrives May 5: summer begins — a feast of growth, as the weather warms and the days grow longer.

Second season — Small Sprouts (小满), comes May 21: the air warms and the summer grains begin to fill out — a small filling — while herbs grow wild.
