General analysis of the day
Overview:
April 23 — Day of Close (閉). This is a day of stillness and blocked development, when the Earth Qi becomes dormant. The atmosphere is heavy with obstruction, compounded by two challenging stars that warn against partnership and health matters.
Positives of the day:
There are no positive stars on this day. However, the Well mansion brings support for water-related work, cleaning, repairs, and physical labour. Completing old projects and summarizing past efforts can proceed, as the Close indicator permits closure of existing matters.
Negatives of the day:
The Damage of the Day Branch introduces unfaithfulness and the risk of betrayal, making partnership ventures unsafe. The Disease Star explicitly warns against medical treatment and physician visits. The Close indicator itself represents the lowest point of the cycle — a time when new initiatives stall. The Well mansion advises against weddings, contracts, and funerals due to epidemiological risk.
Good for:
— Completing and summarizing old activities — Dam construction and small repair works — Burial and gravestone installation — Cleaning and hygiene work — Water-related Feng Shui implementations — Physical labour and industrious tasks — Gardening
Not good for:
— Partnership agreements and discussions — Weddings and romantic dates — Important personal or business decisions — Medical procedures or doctor visits — Job interviews or employment matters — Corporate events and celebrations — Signing contracts — Funerals
In short:
This is a day of closure and stasis, best reserved for finishing old business, practical repairs, and labour-intensive work. Avoid all matters involving trust, health, new commitments, and major life changes. The Well mansion partially brightens the picture through support for hands-on industry, but the two negative stars create a distinctly cautious atmosphere overall.

PERSONAL STARS WITH CONSIDERATION OF YOUR BIRTHDAY
7 Lunar day (beginning in 6:08 AM UTC)
Day for active and independent activity. Words on such a day acquire strength so be careful what you say. Prayers and what you have written in hand are especially strong. It is good to work with papers and archives. Cleansing of the body and fasting is useful. You can find a common language with anyone but a quarrel is more dangerous today than on other days.
Lunar Mansions
22 Well 井 (Jǐng). This is the head of the Phoenix. Associated with beauty, water, navigation at sea, hygiene, cleaning, repairs, and refurbishments. It is good for Feng Shui implementations, especially for everything related to water. For example, it is good to establish the 5 spirits formula, water dragon and water formulas. The day is also good for undertaking of a project, groundworks. Because of the association of cleanliness with Godliness (virtue), this mansion also presides over law and order, moral uprightness and cleansing of moral wrongs. The luck in this Chinese lunar mansion is said to vary because of the conflict of the elements involved. Labour is rewarded, while idleness is sanctioned. It is good for taking exams, tending to herbivorous animals and all types of industriousness. It is very good for gardening and widows. Bad for funerals because of the risk of epidemics and sudden death. All projects in progress should be worked on instead of being put aside. Do not arrange a wedding, signing of a contract or a funeral.
