General analysis of the day
Overview:
May 02 — Day of Balance (平). This is an ordinary day marked by equilibrium and neutral forces, where conditions tend to level out rather than shift dramatically. The presence of Month Sha introduces friction and delays, yet the Year Storage Star offers grounding support for long-term stability.
Positives of the day:
The Year Storage Star makes this an excellent time for acquiring real estate and durable assets, or placing money in long-term savings. The Balance indicator favours those in weaker positions, creating an opportunity to level the playing field through negotiation and compromise. Long-term planning, construction projects, repairs, and groundworks all benefit from this day's stabilizing energy.
Negatives of the day:
Month Sha brings obstacles, delays and requires extra effort to move forward. The Neck mansion explicitly warns against construction, physical confrontation, and financial dealings. Marriages and funerals are unsuitable. The Balance indicator cannot support competition or litigation where a decisive win is needed—outcomes tend toward drawn conclusions or stalemate rather than victory.
Good for:
— Long-term real estate purchases and property investment — Placing money in long-term bank deposits — Planning and designing long-term projects — Starting major construction or groundworks — Repairs and appliance installation — Negotiations and peace-making efforts — Seeking compromise in disputes — Treating diseases and managing health crises — Travel (if allowed by other circumstances)
Not good for:
— Short-term projects or quick initiatives — Competitive contests or legal battles requiring victory — Buying and selling land — Starting short-term endeavours like exam prep or diets — Marriages and funerals — Sharing money or receiving inheritance — Construction work (per mansion restriction) — Physical combat or confrontation — Major financial transactions
In short:
May 02 is a day for patient, long-term thinking and investment rather than quick wins. While Month Sha creates resistance, the Year Storage Star and Balance indicator work in your favour for acquiring lasting assets and reaching peaceful settlements. Avoid haste and competition; this day rewards those who play for the long game.

WHAT WILL THIS DAY BRING YOU
平 Balance
An ordinary day, without events… not necessarily a bad time, so mindfulness must be shown. Since this is the day of Balance, it means a balance of positions. It is a good time for those who are in a weak position and not so good for those in a strong one as conditions can become equalized. On this day you can plan long-term projects, make repairs, install an appliance such as an oven or stove and carry out groundworks. It is a favourable time to start a new construction, to travel and to conduct negotiations. At this time, the conditions of the parties, during negotiations, will be balanced. It is the time for smoothing relationships, seeking a compromise and making peace. But today will not give you an opportunity to take a dominant position therefore, it is not the time for litigations and competitions, if a victory is required. After all, the day leads to a delay in the process, equalizing of positions and to a drawn game and may conclude with a peaceful settlement. Today is a suitable time to treat diseases, control epidemics and manage a disaster. This is a bad day for weddings and funerals and not a good time to share money and receive an inheritance, as other applicants may appear.
