General analysis of the day
Overview:
July 28 — Day of Balance (平). This is an ordinary day marked by equilibrium rather than momentum, where conditions tend toward evening out rather than advancing. However, two powerful destructive forces—Month Sha and Destruction in the day—create obstacles and friction that will require extra effort to navigate.
Positives of the day:
The Balance indicator itself offers genuine opportunity for those in weaker positions, as this day naturally levels playing fields. Long-term projects, repairs, installations, construction work, travel, and negotiations all benefit from the day's levelling energy. Those seeking compromise, reconciliation, or peaceful settlement will find the day's nature supports such aims. Disease treatment and disaster management are also favourable.
Negatives of the day:
The two negative stars are formidable. Month Sha brings delays, obstacles, and difficulties in movement—you will need to work harder and expend more energy than usual. Destruction in the day actively damages relationships and creates conflict, making this a particularly poor time for personal or business discussions, celebrations, and social arrangements. The Heart mansion compounds these difficulties: it carries associations with misfortune, disasters, and losses. It explicitly warns against starting new activities and filing lawsuits. Real estate transactions risk forced sales. Marriages contracted now may bring affliction.
Good for:
— Long-term project planning and initiation — Repairs and installations (ovens, stoves, appliances) — Groundworks and new construction — Travel, especially for those in weak positions — Negotiations where balanced terms are acceptable — Reconciliation and peacemaking — Disease treatment and epidemic control — Disaster management
Not good for:
— Weddings and funerals — Short-term projects or quick-win endeavours — Buying and selling land — Starting short-term undertakings (exam prep, diets) — Job interviews or corporate events — Important personal or business discussions — Legal action and lawsuits — Real estate purchases — Large celebrations or social gatherings — Money-sharing and inheritance matters
In short:
July 28 presents a paradox: the Balance indicator offers genuine support for long-term, patient work and negotiation, but Month Sha and Destruction in the day—combined with the Heart mansion's inauspicious nature—create significant friction.

WHAT WILL THIS DAY BRING YOU
平 Balance
An ordinary day, without events… not necessarily a bad time, so mindfulness must be shown. Since this is the day of Balance, it means a balance of positions. It is a good time for those who are in a weak position and not so good for those in a strong one as conditions can become equalized. On this day you can plan long-term projects, make repairs, install an appliance such as an oven or stove and carry out groundworks. It is a favourable time to start a new construction, to travel and to conduct negotiations. At this time, the conditions of the parties, during negotiations, will be balanced. It is the time for smoothing relationships, seeking a compromise and making peace. But today will not give you an opportunity to take a dominant position therefore, it is not the time for litigations and competitions, if a victory is required. After all, the day leads to a delay in the process, equalizing of positions and to a drawn game and may conclude with a peaceful settlement. Today is a suitable time to treat diseases, control epidemics and manage a disaster. This is a bad day for weddings and funerals and not a good time to share money and receive an inheritance, as other applicants may appear.

You should avoid buying and selling land on this day. Starting travel on this day is also unfavourable.
