What Does "Registration for Training" Mean in the Feng Shui Fortune Calendar?
The Feng Shui Fortune Calendar has two study queries. "Registration for training" is the moment you sign up: submitting documents, registering for a course, paying for a programme. "Beginning of training" is the first day of classes. In Chinese tradition both matter: a lucky registration helps you get where you want and on good terms.

What the query covers:
- applying to a university, college or master's programme;
- enrolling in courses, trainings or workshops;
- registering for an online programme;
- paying for studies;
- applying for a scholarship or study grant;
- booking a tutor.
When to use a different query:
- the first day of classes: "beginning of training";
- a child starting school or kindergarten: "admission to school, kindergarten";
- other applications and documents: "submitting documents and applications";
- you are the one teaching: "starting of classes".
How the Calendar rates the day. For registration for training many Day Officers are favourable: Full, Control, Open, Balance, Collect, Stable, Success and Establish. The unfavourable ones are Close, Destruction and Remove. Among the lunar mansions, Maiden, Star, Dipper, Root, Bow, Room, Chariot, Horn and Tail are among the good ones, while Ox, Ghost, House, Willow, Turtle Beak, Wing, Pleiades, Void, Net, Heart and Neck are unfavourable. The key star is the Academic Star, the patron of learning. The Noble Man, the Three Mystics, the Day of Three Harmony and the Heavenly and Monthly Stars of Virtue help too. The day is weakened by the Day of Lost Time, the Emptiness Day, the Extinction Day, the Separating Day, Self Penalty, Robbery Sha and a Clash of the Year or of the Month.
