Three Mystics
The Three Mystics Star (San Qi 三奇) is similar in quality to the Nobleman and Virtue stars. Three Mystics are also called: "Three Remarkable Nobles", "Three Generals", "Three Wonderful", "Three Mystical Entities", "Three Unpaired".
There is extremely favorable positive energy on the Three Mystics day. If you start acting on this day, you can succeed in any endeavor. The Star of the Three Mystics neutralizes the "Void" and many unlucky stars on the day when it comes. But the Mystics will not be useful if there is a Clash of the day with the month or year.
The Star of the Three Mystics acts like a filter, neutralizing negative influences and filling the space with positive energy. It allows us to feel supported in our desire to achieve our goals. We gain confidence and determination, knowing that our action is illuminated by the light of the Three Mystics.
However, as in other cases, there are conditions under which the effect of the Three Mystics can be weakened. The Clash of the day with the month or year can create obstacles to the full manifestation of the power of the Mystics. Therefore, it is important to take into account the influences of other indicators of the day in order to make the most of the favorable energy of the Three Wonderful ones.
Thus, recognizing and appreciating the presence of the energy of the Three Mystics in the current day, we can direct our efforts in the right direction, achieving success and harmony in our lives. This day becomes a gift from the cosmos, which we can use to create and transform our environment and ourselves.
The concept of the Three Mystics came to Ba Zi from the Qi Men Dun Jia technique, where it plays a significant role. San Qi (三奇), or the "Three Mystics", consists of the Heavenly Stems 乙 (Yi), 丙 (Bing) and 丁 (Ding). 乙 (Yi) is considered the sister of 甲 (Jia), so the "sister" protects the "brother" from 庚 (Geng). Since 乙 (Yi) and 庚 (Geng) merge, a union is formed, thereby 甲 (Jia) is protected from potential attacks from 庚 (Geng).
丙 (Bing) and 丁 (Ding), both associated with the element of Fire, they occupy a special position in San Qi. According to the Five Element Theory, Wood gives birth to Fire, which indicates that 丙 (Bing) and 丁 (Ding) are considered the “children” of 甲 (Jia). In traditional Chinese belief systems, children have a duty to protect their parents. Furthermore, in the Five Element Theory, Fire controls Metal. Thus, 丙 (Bing) and 丁 (Ding) play a protective role for 甲 (Jia), contributing to the concept of San Qi (三奇). These Mystics make up the 2nd option (below), the Three Earthly Mystics. However, there are also the Heavenly and Human Mystics.
The Three Heavenly Mystics are 甲, 戊 and 庚. 甲 is responsible for the Sun, 戊 for the Moon and 庚 for the Star. This means that the Three Mystics have a connection with the Sun, the Moon and the Star.
