General analysis of the day
Overview:
January 25 — Day of Open (開). This is a day of new beginnings and expansion, marked by the Open indicator's natural pull toward fresh starts and positive openings. However, the Clash of the Year star casts a shadow over long-term ventures, creating tension between the day's inviting energy and the year's resistance.
Positives of the day:
The Open indicator brings genuine auspicious potential for initiating projects, signing agreements, conducting ceremonies, and welcoming new phases. Short-term undertakings and activities that do not require sustained momentum through the year can benefit from this day's openness and clarity of purpose.
Negatives of the day:
The Clash of the Year is a serious impediment, particularly for anything meant to endure. The Pleiades mansion adds weight to this caution, bringing associations with legal complications, misjudgment, and unfavourable outcomes for important decisions. Together they warn against relying on this day for ventures that matter deeply to your future.
Good for:
— Short-term events and time-limited activities — Signing contracts of brief duration — Religious or spiritual ceremonies — Formal gatherings and receptions — Seeking blessings or divine guidance — Opening an office for temporary purposes
Not good for:
— Beginning long-term businesses or careers — Marriages or life partnerships — Major legal actions or lawsuits — Collecting debts — Foundation work or ground disturbance — Weddings, funerals, or family commitments — Ventures requiring sustained success through the year
In short:
January 25 invites you to open doors, but warns you not to walk through them toward your most important destinations. Use this day for what needs to begin and end quickly, not for what needs to last.

PERSONAL STARS WITH CONSIDERATION OF YOUR BIRTHDAY
7 Lunar day (beginning in 7:17 AM UTC)
Day for active and independent activity. Words on such a day acquire strength so be careful what you say. Prayers and what you have written in hand are especially strong. It is good to work with papers and archives. Cleansing of the body and fasting is useful. You can find a common language with anyone but a quarrel is more dangerous today than on other days.
Lunar Mansions
18 Pleiades 昴 (Mǎo). The Chinese character for this mansion is a closed-door surmounted by the Sun. The ancients maintained that when the Pleiades flickered, it presaged invasion by barbarians. The Pleiades were regarded as the ears and eyes of Heaven. For this reason, they were said to preside over the end of criminal hearings or judicial proceedings. It is said to presage lawsuits and deaths in the family, governing invasion, judgment, and punishment. Generally unfavourable for most things. The result of misjudged actions is regarded as heralding unhappiness. Marriages end with the separation of the partners. New-born children are as old men with white beards near to the grave. Leave this epidemic star alone! It is not good for doing anything important, you should not file a lawsuit or collect debts.
