General analysis of the day
Overview:
January 16 — Day of Remove (除). This is a day built for clearing away the old and making space for renewal, though the energies are complicated by loss-related influences that demand caution in execution.
Positives of the day:
The Heavenly Star of Virtue and Monthly Star of Virtue work strongly in your favour, transforming potential difficulties into opportunities. These stars soften negative influences and bring charisma and grace to your dealings. They make this an excellent day for handling people—hiring, firing, negotiating partnerships—and for public communication. The Remove indicator itself supports all forms of release and renewal: cleaning house physically and spiritually, breaking unhelpful patterns, extracting problems at their root.
Negatives of the day:
Two robbery-related stars shadow the day: Month Robbery Sha and Robbery Sha. Both warn of misplacement, loss of valuables, and problems during travel, including loss of documents and money. The Ox mansion amplifies the caution: it is a disaster star associated with discord and broken agreements, particularly unfavourable for contracts and marriages. Beginning repairs is risky on this day, as things may go missing in the process.
Good for:
— Releasing unhelpful habits and thought patterns — Cleaning your home, mind, and body through spiritual practice — Ending relationships or contracts that no longer serve you — Dismissing employees or reorganizing your team — Haircuts and other removal-based personal care — Public speaking and making important contacts — Starting long-term projects (if absolutely necessary) — Negotiating the end of business partnerships
Not good for:
— Traveling or journeying — Repair work or maintenance projects — Signing new contracts or formal agreements — Weddings or commitment ceremonies — Adopting children or taking on care responsibilities — Moving into a new home — Starting short-term projects, diets, or exam preparation — Carrying valuables or important documents — Beginning a new job or official opening
In short:
January 16 is a powerful day for endings and release, blessed by stars of virtue that help you navigate transitions with grace and influence. Yet the robbery stars and Ox mansion demand you stay vigilant with possessions and avoid new commitments or contracts. Use this day to shed what weighs you down—just keep your wits about you.

WHAT WILL THIS DAY BRING YOU
除 Remove
It is a good time to get rid of things that are no longer useful, things that have served their purpose and not needed anymore. Even ideas…renew them. Clean the house, but don’t stop there, clean your mind and body through spiritual practices, e.g. through praying and fasting. Make changes to your life. Get rid of bad habits. Make repairs, carry out groundworks. Get a haircut, carry out detox procedures. A time to have teeth extracted or, if needed, amputations carried out. It is not a time for a treatment to repair your body. Start a diet, finish a relationship, plan a divorce. It is the right time to end contracts and dismiss employees. It is not the right time for a big celebration such as a wedding or to make a commitment to adopt children or arrange to care for other people’s animals. The day is not right to start a new job, move into a new home or perform an official opening. It is not worth starting a new journey. It is the time to eliminate all the bad things and acquire good things.
