General analysis of the day
Overview:
October 21 — Day of Control (執). This is fundamentally a constructive day well-suited to building and establishing, though the indicator carries a caution against major life transitions. The stellar influences show neither particular enhancement nor depletion of the day's character.
Positives of the day:
The Control indicator supports practical accomplishment: setting up business ventures, initiating long-term projects, signing contracts, and beginning repairs or construction work all align well with this day's energy. Administrative and organizational tasks benefit from the day's focused, consolidating nature. The Maiden mansion favours literary and scholarly pursuits, making this a good time to commence studies or new courses of learning. Private and domestic activities receive strong support.
Negatives of the day:
The Control indicator explicitly warns against travel, relocation, and weddings—transitions that clash with this day's consolidating rather than mobile character. The Maiden mansion advises against public activities and legal matters, which sit uneasily with this day's domestic and private orientation. Family disputes may arise, and funeral arrangements made on this day are inauspicious.
Good for:
— Starting a business or commercial venture — Signing contracts and making commitments — Beginning long-term projects — Repairs, building, and construction work — Administrative and organizational work — Beginning formal study or new courses — Private and domestic activities — Religious ceremonies and prayer
Not good for:
— Travel and journeys — Moving house or relocation — Weddings and marriage ceremonies — Public activities and events — Legal matters and dealings — Funeral arrangements — Quarrelsome or confrontational activities
In short:
October 21 is a day for consolidating, building, and studying rather than moving forward into new life chapters. Focus on what you can establish in place—business, projects, learning—and defer any major transitions for a more auspicious date.
