Feng Shui Lucky Days for October 2026

October 2026. The solar month changes on October 8 at 6:29 UTC (highlighted in the grid) — on this day the Chinese calendar enters the month of 戊戌 (Earth Dog) in the year of 丙午 (Fire Horse), and the day-ruler doubles: Control (執) gives way to Destruction (破).

The Dog month spans two Chinese solar seasons:

First season — Cold Dew (寒露), arrives October 8: the weather turns colder and nature gradually calms down; it is the most pronounced transition from hot to cold, as Yin grows over Yang.

Second season — Frosts Descent (霜降), comes October 23: the last season of autumn, when it grows colder by the day and the first frost falls — tradition even holds that if no frost falls now, the coming year brings a poor harvest.
