Feng Shui Lucky Days for December 2026

December 2026. The solar month changes on December 7 at 2:52 UTC (highlighted in the grid) — on this day the Chinese calendar enters the month of 庚子 (Metal Rat) in the year of 丙午 (Fire Horse), and the day-ruler doubles: Balance (平) gives way to Stable (定).

The Rat month spans two Chinese solar seasons:

First season — Greater Snow (大雪), arrives December 7: deep, heavy snow and the first season of midwinter; by tradition, abundant snow now heralds a rich harvest in the year to come.

Second season — Winter Solstice (冬至), comes December 21: the shortest day of the year, long celebrated in China as a holiday — it marks the start of a new cycle, as Yang begins to return.
